We found this hotel to be really lovely. Despite some really negative reviews. The staff work really hard and try their best. I agree some are not overly chatty/smiley, but that is because they are very busy The food is good, there are lots of options. Food was well presented and fresh. We used the Grill and Rio restaurant (you got a voucher for 1 visit to each per stay, booking 24 hours before hand) The grill was ok but preferred the other one. The wine was free poor from bottles, not those horrible tap wines you get in some all-inclusive. The cocktails were a little bland/pre mixed, but you could up grade if that is your thing. The pool area is lovely. There are lots of nice seating areas too. We used the boat to the beach, that was really fun. We walked into Cabanas, a lovely little place. We also got a taxi into Tavira. It's worth exploring and costs approximately 15 euro. Rooms are very clean and well serviced. Ours had a shaded balcony in the afternoon/evening. Not facing the pool etc but we could still see the estuary and the sea, so we were happy enough. All in all, we had a superb time. Don't be put off with all the negative comments on other reviews..

Some nice spaces inside the different accommodation blocks and seating with hammocks too so plenty of choices if you didn’t want to sit in the sun. The spa facilities were good with a hydro pool, heated pool and sauna and steam room alongside a lounge area. The gym was well equipped with the main cardio and weight machines as well as free weights, bench/step, stability balls and plenty of space for mat work. Great wash facilities too which includes showers. A lovely doable distance walk to the local town which offered a scenic boardwalk, with bars and shops along the route. Room had all you needed with housekeeping services daily. The food was good offering the usual varieties of proteins, pasta, vegan/vegetarian, breads, sweets, drinks. Two of the pool bars were closed but we still managed to get drinks without too much trouble. Water was provided around the hotel.

There was shed loads of free parking outside the hotel.... the staff we're generally friendly and helpful.... we arrived 2 hours before check in... I thought there would be no way they'd let us in for our all inclusive 2 hours before but I was wrong!!!! At 11:45 we arrived at the reception, they put the gold all inclusive band on and we we free to partake in the all inclusive experience!!! We had an unbelievable time!!! Before our stay had come to an end we'd already booked a weekend with friends for Halloween at the ap adriana....
